Linda Schwartz, MA, CCC, is licensed to practice speech-language pathology in California. She is a member of the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Ms. Schwartz is listed as a subject matter expert with the Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensers Board, Department of Consumer Affairs, State of California. Her extensive experience with both children and adults in a variety of settings enables her to provide expert consultations, virtual assessments and therapy in all areas of speech and language. Training and Experience
Ms. Schwartz completed a B.F.A.A. from Boston University in Theatre Arts. She holds a M.A. degree in Communicative Disorders from California State University, Fullerton, a Certificate of Clinical Competence (C.C.C.) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association , and is licensed by the state of California to practice speech-language pathology. Ms. Schwartz is a Subject Matter Expert for the Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensers Board, Department of Consumer Affairs, State of California.
Ms. Schwartz completed speech pathology graduate internships in the Beverly Hills Unified School District and at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. She completed her Clinical Fellowship Year in Speech Pathology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and was on staff there for several years. At Cedars, Ms. Schwartz assessed and treated patients in the acute hospital, acute rehabilitation unit, skilled nursing unit as well as provided outpatient therapy services. She also worked with radiologists, participating in and interpreting video fluoroscopic swallowing studies. Additionally, Ms. Schwartz was the sole provider of speech pathology services for California Hospital Medical Center and has provided speech pathology services at a number of hospitals in the Los Angeles area. She worked for the Los Angeles Unified School District for twenty-two years, treating individuals ranging in age from 3-22 years old. Ms.Schwartz maintains a virtual and in-person private practice which includes providing assessments and treatment for children eighteen months to three years of age. as well as assessment and treatment of school-age children and individuals with neurological disorders related to stroke and TBI.
